Skipper Landry was born on Veterans Day, 1971 on Elmendorf Air Force Base in Anchorage, Alaska to Paul & Margarita Landry. Soon after his father's enlistment was up, his family moved back to Baton Rouge, Louisiana and settled down. Medical issues kept Skipper from attending most of elementary and middle school, but he eventually was able to attended, and graduate from Calvary Christian School. During his high school years he landed his first job, a cashier at K-mart at the age of 15. In his junior year until well into college, he worked along side of friends such as Jeff, Chris, Zeke and Lyle as a DJ at local night clubs. He attended Louisiana State University for a time where he failed out due to frequenting the student union rather than classes. Skipper eventually settled down working as a security and fire alarm technician where he worked most of his adult life and still holds an active NICET III Life Safety license. One constant throughout his life was his need to be creative. Early on it manifested through landscaping lawns in his neighborhood, then through building, modifying, restoring and showcasing cars and motorcycles. At one point in time he bought and restored a 1982 DeLorean DMC12. Most recently his need to be creative has taken the form of acting and cinematography. At the age of 38, he was introduced to acting by a fluke. Skipper began taking classes in acting in New Orleans and was soon showing up in bit parts in feature films. His has been in featured in major motion pictures, tv series, a few made for tv movies and just recently wrapped on an independent supernatural thriller and is filming his first co-staring SAG role in January 2013.
